Table­top stere­o­scopes are among the most impor­tant forms of antique stereo­scop­ic view­ers. Designed for com­fort­able view­ing while seat­ed, they range from sim­ple stand-mount­ed view­ers for indi­vid­ual stere­o­graphs to revolv­ing and tray-based stere­o­scopes for entire image series, as well as fold­ing designs such as the Pan­to­scope.
