Hein­rich Erne­mann was one of Ger­many’s lead­ing cam­era man­u­fac­tur­ers and also made impor­tant con­tri­bu­tions to stereo­scop­ic pho­tog­ra­phy. The Dres­den-based com­pa­ny pro­duced stereo cam­eras, stereo­scop­ic view­ers, and relat­ed equip­ment, com­bin­ing high man­u­fac­tur­ing stan­dards with tech­ni­cal inno­va­tion. Today, Erne­man­n’s stereo­scop­ic prod­ucts are val­ued for their qual­i­ty and rep­re­sent an impor­tant chap­ter in the his­to­ry of Ger­man stere­oscopy.
