Lucien Bize was one of the most innovative French designers of stereoscopes in the early twentieth century. His compact and technically original viewers, including the Minimus, Omnium, and Polyphote, introduced new approaches to stereoscopic viewing while remaining practical and affordable. Although his stereoscope business was relatively short-lived, Bize’s designs remain among the most distinctive achievements of French stereoscopy. This section features stereoscopic instruments designed or manufactured by Lucien Bize.
